HIPAA Training Log-On Info

Logging onto: HIPAA Training: Basic Privacy, Privacy and Research Fundamentals, Research Refresher, Security Fundamentals

Courses will be available on-line after you register with the Privacy Office.

The following steps outline the process for signing onto and completing your assigned HIPAA training, please use Internet Explorer and enable java to minimize chance of unusual results:

1. Submit your request for HIPAA training using the form at http://privacy.louisville.edu/enroll.
   
2. Access the training website by clicking on the link: https://blackboard.louisville.edu/webapps/login/
   

UserID and Password Note: Your UserID and password is your universal (Blackboard/ULink/Groupwise) UofL password.

3. You must successfully complete all the assigned lessons before you will be given credit for completing the course. A lesson is only successfully completed if you receive an 80% or better on each of the post-lesson tests.  All courses have four lessons, except the research refresher, which has one.
4. Upon completing the required reading material and corresponding tests:
• Print copies of your final test results for each course for your personal records. (Congratulations page at the end of the each section)
