HIPAA Training Frequently Asked Questions

The default password does not work, why?
The training uses the same user ID and password as the UofL Network and GroupWise. If this is not working for you, please go to "ULink" (http://ulink.louisville.edu/) and review the password change and recovery options there.

When does the training need to be completed?
New employees should complete their training within 60 days of their hire date. All current employees within the hybrid covered entity should already have this training completed.

How many lessons are there in the training?
HIPAA Privacy: Eight lessons
HIPAA Security: Four lessons.
HIPAA Privacy and Research: Five lessons.

What about my internet browser, are there any special requirements?
Internet Explorer works best on the actual training site. Java script and cookies must be enabled for the training to function correctly.
