Privacy, Security, and HSC Compliance Training

Effective October 15, the UL Privacy, Information Security, and HSC Compliance Offices will transition to Blackboard and will no longer utilize an external vendor for online compliance training. All faculty, staff, students and affiliated personnel must complete their current training assignments before midnight October 7 in order to receive proper credit. Those individuals who fail to complete their training before this date will be assigned an entire module of new lessons for completion in the Blackboard system, which may be accessed on October 15.

There will be no access to the Educode system after October 7 and the training in the Blackboard system will not be available until October 15. Researchers preparing submission packets for the Human Subjects Protection Program should take this information into consideration as key personnel will be unable to complete required training during this blackout period. No new personnel will be loaded into the Educode system after October 4. New personnel requiring training after October 4 will be enrolled into the Blackboard system and may begin their training on October 15.
